Doh, I'm retarded. I'm sure somebody already poked fun at me somewhere but I read it as "Teens living with parents." rather than "People with children living in their dwelling.".

I need to dye my hair blond before I get this car. As is my wife already asked me if this is my mid-life crisis car... I was like hell no... That'll be a Porsche or something.

Wonder why we don't get the 3.767 rear end ratio here.
In one of the gear ratio threads I think someone pointed out that 2nd gear maxes out at 59mph or something...but I am probably recalling that number incorrectly.

Jack Hollis did mention "standard limited slip differential" afterall...maybe they think Americans are too stupid to know what final drive is :P

A 205/55/16 tire would add about 1mph to 2nd gear though.

I believe it was 61 mph for the sake of being able to hit 60 mph without the need to shift into third. Makes sense when it comes to 0-60 times.

Let's see; Subaru mule, Subaru chassis, Subaru engine, Subaru brakes, Subaru suspension, Subaru paint, produced in a Subaru factory. I will give you that Tada helped but Tada did mosly styling. Subaru did the mechanical.

It's in a big enough city, not sure what kind of volume they do though.

I'm glad it has a 4.10. I would have been fine with a 4.4 too. I'll take the performance of the shorter rear end.

Got a call from Dwyer and Sons Subaru in Suburban Detroit.. The guy confirmed that they are not accepting the VIP discount and they are only getting 2 cars between May 1 and Nov 30. He said they could order additional vehicles and might get them, but they also might not get them.

I'm going to try another dealer today that I've been in contact with and will see what they say.. I think the lack of VIP will persuade me to wait until next year... I have a hard time justifying paying full price when I should be able to buy the car at invoice..

Try AA Subaru. They are getting 7 I think, and I'm the only one on their list so far.

Wow... so depending on the size of the dealer, first batch may not even come in till summer
