I think in reality the good places grossly outnumber the bad but the internet being what it is means all that ever gets posted are the horror stories.
No fun in posting "Well went to buy a car and everything went smoothly. Thanks for listening"

Nooooo! I sincerely hope they didn't put any of the typical dealer provided swirl marks in your clear coat.

I'll share my story when I was 18 (4 yrs ago) first scion dealership I went a older gentlemen approched me and asked if I needed any help.. I think this only happened because I had came with dad..I stated "I was just looking around" by me asking questions about the car (Scion Tc) I noticed he was really new to being a Salesperson, I moved on into the showroom floor & I saw a frs never saw this before brand new to the lot, and I was asking questions about the car he kind of wing me off the car by telling me false information about owning a frs such as insurances would be too much for a younger guy,And he eventually said it was out of my reach. Looking back I wish I would of bought the 13 frs. I would have been very pleased owning it. After 2 year of owning the tc I traded it for a frs I went to a different dealership this time I had the best sales person got me a great deal on the trade in,offered a test drive,Now that I own a frs 2 yrs have gone by and I found out that the frs is soo much of a better car then the Tc,cheaper insurance by a lot.

Really? I didn't think the TC would be an expensive to insure car that's really interesting, maybe because its a mass car that tends to get into fender benders alot?

My dealer let me take my BRZ for a ride by myself for half an hour when I was 18.
I think that's why I fell in love with it so fast.

I know that I am responding to a month-old post, but I recently I ran online quotes for a bunch of cars, and TC was the most expensive, butFRS was not far behind though.

If you are interested, here are the premiums (I don't remember exactly what coverage I put there, but it was the same for all cars)

tC $664
FRS $650
mazda3 2.5L hatchback $643
mustang V6 $620
VW GTI $617
Veloster Turbo $603
miata $562
Nissan Juke SV FWD $590
VW golf $494
