Is this the same as FRS' raven color?

I really like the idea of getting an asphalt color but when I see it in pictures I don't like how the lighting really depicts how it looks. Sometimes it looks like very dark grey blue. I want that anthracite gun metal mix. This dark gray color is pretty much it.

Woops I meant to say is the dark gray the FRS' asphalt. Fail.

Thanks.

I've never actually seen this color in person only, raven and whiteout. Asphalt definitely looks very nice.

It looks good in pictures but you really have to see it in person to appreciate it. It's a very dynamic color. I love it

I played with plastidip last weekend, think Im going to redo it and leave the black parts of the rims untouched. also painted my calipers and lugs, made a big difference

Freshly Detailed

A few pictures of her after quite a few hours detailing her yesterday (CG Citrus Wash & Gloss, Iron Cut, clay, Griot's # 4, should have used #3 though, 2 coats of Megs #26):

The mark on the right side of this is actually a piece of towel lint that I didn't notice until after I saw the pics on the computer, ha:

And yes, lots of (factory) wheel gap. Until I get a 2nd car, I'll need to live with it though.

Of course, it's not all pretty. Holy orange peel. I've noticed it before, but I never noticed how bad it was/is:

I'm of the impression I'd need to wet sand it to fix that, and while I'll do a lot myself, I'm not quite brave enough to try that.

After some patient waiting, I was able to place a deposit on a DGM BRZ Limited! ETA early October. Will be contributing some pics as soon as I get her.

One of my buddies in college always took his car to a spray off wash in town. It has some regular stalls but also one for large trucks. Since then, whenever I get a new car, I always go there when I'm around the area, wash it off, and then send him a pic lol. DGM looks so good clean
