Yeah I think they most likely are too late in the production cycle to redesign the wheel so they are just making it optional, and I'm sure we'll see an improved version a year or two from now.

I have a feeling it is....but believe it or not when I saw the brz live I rather have it with no buttons....don't get me wrong I like the whole bluetooth and radio control but....I don't want the inside to look like a fighter pilot pit....but that's just my 2 cents....

Also I got a call from rich from irvine subaru saying when he gets the price list his also getting a option list..sooooooo will see what the "options" are....

What the heck is Aha radio?

Btw - noticed a few money misers on here - do any of you guys have XM radio right now? My wife's had it in her cars since 2003. It's not cheap for the monthly service! ($15-20/mo). Wonder if I can piggyback on to her plan for free? Probably not...

Aha is an interface between the radio and your iOS/Android phone. It lets you get certian internet streaming audio services, and things like traffic reports. You can control it from the touch screen. You can download the app and see how it works without being connected to the radio. I'm not really impressed but it's not a bad feature.

I personally love having the basic audio controls on my steering wheel. Volume, track forward/back, and bluetooth controls.

I emailed Subaru customer service to ask them if there's a way to find out which dealers have them.

If you get a response could you ask them to confirm that 27-28th, order date? Multiple dealers have said thats when the dealer portal will open to enter orders
