So, just came back from Irvine Subaru and placed my deposit down on a Premium BRZ.

Key Points:

-Talk to Richard Thornton if you wanna talk about the car or place a deposit on one. Real friendly guy and will tell you the story on how he got into trouble for test driving it. lol
He also said that if we wanted to get extras on the car, that he would hook us up for GB.

-I told him what happened at PH Subaru and he said that they probably got scared about how many people they were going to sell at invoice and thought they could make more sellling outside of the GB. Says that was messed up and that he'd get us a good deal.

- They say it will be there for a short time. Rich told me his boss said, "2days after him test driving it." but he thinks it would be there for about a month.

- I now have a more difficult choice between colors now after looking at the blue. I'm speechless!

- The limited edition they had there was a manual and came with HIDs.

-Back seat issue: Now this is entirely SUBJECTIVE and you can take this with a grain of salt, but im 5'10 and i had my dad, who's 5'8, sit in the back. I did not feel comfortable with him sitting behind me but we had a sales associate sit in the passenger's seat with my dad in the back and it looked a SLIGHT bit better but my dad said he was a bit cramped and the salesman looked so as well. So, for you 6foot giants out there, don't plan on having any friends sitting behind you or in the back seats at all!

Thanks Deuce! and yeah when I tested it, the comfortable limited ends at about someone that's about 5'4 so if you have friends about that size (most of my female friends are) They'll fit just fine on the passenger side one in the back and one in front. But don't expect to fit anyone behind the Driver side of the car.

Glad you had a great experience, Hope that thing will go well with a new GB if you all decide to have one.

I had my 5'10 girlfriend sit in the front, and I was in the back,5,8. She pushed the seat back and it hit my toes before it could go all the way back to where she would normally have the seat positioned.

Dealers in Ohio and other states are too. When I was a kid, I seem to remember the dealers in IL being open too.

$23k would be real nice for the BRZ. But for some reason I think it will be higher.

Lowest I expect is around $24k for the premium.
