Very sad to see you let go of the FRS/86. But hey, at least your priorities are straight, and family and financial reasons are always first.

Good to see that you got a new car that's more reasonable and works out for your situation

No disrespect though, but a Hyundai? Why not a Impreza? Sorry.

Because the Hyundai is honestly the more reliable brand right now. The Imprezas tend to blow head gaskets and have problems. Besides, the Accent is a lot cheaper and gets way better gas mileage. I didn't need an AWD vehicle.

Hey props to you for doing the responsible thing for you and your family. Call it what it is, but I'm sure your family will one day know and be greatful for the sacrafice you've made for them. My hats off to you.

If you don't count the money I'm saving on insurance and my car payment... The gas alone was worth the trade in. I have a pretty long commute to work, this car is rocking so far!

The Kia Soul is pretty sweet, I think they are cool because they are just so goofy. Tell Mike I said hey if you ever see him around, I never get to see the guy since he moved to MA.

Thanks guys! The dealer apparently listed my Scion FRS for 22,500. That's a damn good price, I'd recommend going there now if you want a nice FRS. Marhofer Hyundai in Akron, Oh. Ask for Matt Roberts, tell him I sent ya. Very honest dealership, I'd go there again in a heartbeat.

Sorry to hear but sounds like a wise decision. But a word of caution: if the "small town cops have nothing better to do", then I would leave your Kia STOCK. If you make it look like a tuner car (lowered, rims, exhaust, tint, etc), you're just putting a target on yourself again. As it is those rims look sporty.
