I'm waiting for the 2014 BRZ.
Don't care to hold out for something that we know exists but don't know if it will ever hit production. I think the BRZ/FR-S are great as they are. Sure, it COULD use more power, but does it need it to be a fun car to drive? Nope. |

If Subaru comes out with a more powerful (50-100hp) model and charges a reasonable amount for it, then I will trade in my BRZ Limited for it. If they don't, I'll boost the BRZ myself or sell it for a used Cayman S. (or new WRX if its anything like the hotness that is the Concept)

Nope! No way I could wait that long to get into this car. A year was long enough!

Nope. Only needed to push the engine past 4k a handful of times in 500 miles, so why pay for more power when I'm not using all I've got? Then again, I don't track it, nor do I race at stoplights or hoon around, and there's plenty of power to accelerate from lights, pass on the highway, etc.
If there were some cool STI options I might consider adding them to my Limited, though. I'm not in love with the fender vents, and if they did come out with a STI with nicer ones that weren't too "Look at me", I'd probably be fairly early in line. I'd like having some OEM options for improving the look and feel of the car, as long as they're not plastered with STI stickers or overtly ricey (I'll pass on the STI spoiler). Same goes for stuff that will tighten up the handling, if they come out with STI motor mounts or other bushings, I'd probably choose those over OE replacements when it comes time to replace that kind of stuff, although I doubt I'd replace them early.

I am in the same boat. I am relatively happy with my WRX. If an 230 - 250hp BRZ came out I would be really interested. |

Nice pole OP. People waiting for the BRZ STI will be sorely disappointed when it never comes out and they have missed the chance to be driving a BRZ for many years.

I am. Eagerly waiting for it. I'll trade my BRZ as soon as I like the specs and it has been sent to production.

I will wait til end of next year. If it comes out without + 20 to 30hp then I will just purchase a limited BRZ.
End of next will be good, more time for me to save some money for the wheel and other goodies😜 |

Negatory, I am in love with my BRZ, a few extra HP and BBK and aerodynamic is not worth an extra $50-$100 insurance rate in my book.

I'll likely buy my wife one, or an Elise.
