Sorry to hear about the car, but glad your father was not hurt! Also glad the insurance company treated you fairly. All too often we hear horror stories about people forced to fight "tooth and nail" over cars with specialty value.

On the plus side, since only the body frame was totaled, the engine is still intact. Want to haul that engine and associated parts for a future transplant into FR-S/BRZ?

hate to sound like a broken record but: glad your pops is ok. sad to see the car is totaled. hopefully an FR-S/BRZ is in his future.

Grrr, I hate bad drivers. I would be devastated if that happened to me with a Supra like that. But that's life I suppose.

The sheer value and integrity of this car is crazy. Shame how something he had no power of controlling screwed him over, but hey everything happens for a reason. Good luck to finding his new love, glad he made it!

Thanks guys. Yeah I'm relieved that my dad got lucky. I know he was super bummed about the loss initially but, hey, things turn around.
