First and foremost, nice Supra. It looks awesome.
Now, to the juice. I hate to break your ballz, but this thread reminds me of those Facebook selfies that females like to share. All you see is some pushed up breasts, yet the caption says, "Got a new belt today". C'mon dawg, to summarize your thread, you just really want to show us your Supra and get your cock stroked by the internet. Let's be real, do you REALLY not know what to do and are you REALLY seeking advice from the forum? We don't know you or your life. FWIW, I think that you should grow some ballz and think for yourself. Maybe grow a beard, too. /thread ps. contrary to what all these fools are telling you, your Supra will NOT increase in value as you Canadians have the luxury of being able to import JDM cars. Furthermore, NA --> turbo never holds value compare to original 6spd TT. |

All that work you put into the Supra I would keep it.
Since in 2 or 3 years you might not want the FR-S anymore and want that Supra that you no longer own. Those days you just want to go fast (track) Because its a Supra

Personally. I'd sell it. WIth all the money from the Supra, I feel like you could make the FRS more fun than the Supra, and just as reliable as it was stock.
Great car though! |

Thanks for your response,
I didn't post my Supra to get my cock stroked. And yes I REALLY came here looking for some input, I can make a decision on my own but I was curious to get opinions from other owners who may have been in the same shoes. At the end of the day I will make my own decision, but being bored at work with nothing else to think about and counting the days to pick up my FRS left me wondering! I have no concern about the value of the car increasing/decreasing it. its RHD and in Canada, its not a top value Car. My decisions is not based on financial reasons of being able to afford or not afford the two cars, its based on if its worth while to keep 2 RWD sports cars. and PS. I have a beard...a very full beard ![]() Quote:

Ok wait, I did learn something, you're saying in USA you can not easily import a Supra or other JDM cars? Ya that's easy as pie here.....Supras are not "everywhere" per say here but a fair amount of them and getting one in half decent shape imported is not all that hard. BACK to the OP @mkivalex now that he has cleared up all and money is not an issue, I guess it comes down to how much time you would have to share between the two and what part of Ontario you live in as I know that province well and the difference north to south is well... big difference in the amount of actual summer time driving you have.. Here where I live is a 6-7 month max window with maybe 4-5 of that being solid summer good weather so having two of anything would never see value is all. HOWEVER... If the sentimental value is strong enough keep it for this summer and see (how much) you drive it even anymore, then you will know 100%.. that is my opinion the end.

My 2 cents worth. You will regret it if you let it go. The FR-S/BRZ will never equal it in desirability or collector status. If you want another one you will probably not be able to find one. I am not even that big a fan of the MKIV Supra and I would not let one go if I had it.

You said it's been four months since you last drove it? And even before that it was just a weekend/toy car right? So it's safe to say the Supra never saw much drive time. I wonder how many miles you've put on it in the last five years.
My point is, if it's just sitting around currently, and will most likely sit around even more once you get the FR-S, there's not much point in keeping. I mean, sure sentimental value, pride, love. But if you've had it a while it's all become fairly familiar, I'd think. It's not 'new' anymore. If it's been sitting around a lot more than normal lately, and you can ask this question then I think the answer is pretty obvious. You probably should sell it. You might miss it, but the money you'd get from the sale would be quite useful. Maybe for the FR-S, maybe for something else. Maybe you can be boring and invest for retirement. Who knows.

My initial reaction is to keep it! But that's because I want it.
If I try to put myself in your shoes, it's kind of like "been there done that" for you. Selling it doesn't mean you don't still love the car, but if you feel you got your money's worth I would say sell it. It's a great looking supra btw, very mature and classy what you've done with it. You'll miss it here and there after you sell it, but I still think it's the right decision. I also disagree with some in here, if you can store it for god knows how long, that car will most certainly go up in value, even though it's modded. But then you WOULD be doing it for financial reasons, and would have to wait a long time. Sell it, but not because your FR-S is a replacement. (Does that make sense?) |

I would keep it...
I feel like people are underestimating the fact that its winter in Canada, and 4 months is probably when it was put into storage? In terms of money put into Supra or the FRS. You will get way better bang for your buck in the Supra |
