At least many streets and roads have been rebuilt in record time. Cal Trans should take notes and stop taking three months to repave a two lane road when these crews in Japan rebuilt entire highways in a week.

If i was living there i would be much less concerned about water damage and way more concerned about radiation.

it's some scary stuff. i just hope we don't get any radioactive subbys & scions. almost makes me wish they were built in the U.S.

the radiation is only a problem in the coastal area of one prefecture. there were 2 other prefectures that were hit by the tsunami that aren't dealing with the radiation.
