why? Even the Mazdaa guys ditch those heavy and unreliable motors for the mighty LS.

Nice to see another LS swap here in JDM-land. Maybe it's more common in the mainland but down here in Oki most people just look at you funny at the very idea. Don't think they understand even a modicum of the advantages of a GM small block compared to most of the engines here.

In 6-7 years once this swap has a reliable kit I think it will be my route. For right now stock is fine since I just picked the car up 2 days ago.

I want to do LS swap to my miata and absolutely love the idea of v8 powered brz/86 but its totally illegal in my country

I like how he went from lexus v8 to chevy v8. More displacement, torque, and lots of after market parts (oh and actually smaller in physical size )

That was the plan with the blue miata you see in my sig but the BRZ at invoice was too hard to beat.
