In all seriousness the car after the BRZ is going to be this VW Crosscoupe concept. I've seen this in person and it looks amazing.
Plus it's actually tiny. Those models do it justice, they are probably standing at 5'11' because I'm 6' and it was just under my shoulder.

plus potentially 1.8L/100km which is INSANE! we're talking drive 7 hours to the cottage in the dead of summer and then back without every having to fill up.
By the time I have a family and need such a car I'll probably own a cottage/ski lodge to drive up to as well!

Damn, I just remembered that the Evora exists. You know, that car does make a pretty good poser car...if I get rid of the 2GR engine and replace it with a K20, that could drop 200lb off the car. Always wished I could get a Japanese (or at least half-Japanese) Porsche Cayman, mid-engine but a nice interior with no rattles.

Depending on my income in 4-5 years, I plan to sell the BRZ and either buy a mid 1960's/early 1970's 911 coupe, or a 4-5yr-old Aston Martin. However I'm waiting to see what Fiat/Alfa produce in the next 5 years (4C for example), and the new Nissan Z, BMW 2 series coupe and Audi A3 sedan could be interesting as well.

R34 GTR, will probably be more than 25yrs old by the time I would consider another car, so it should be relatively easy to import and register.

Put aside about $2K/year for any potential repair through dealerships. I've owned it roughly over 7 years now and I probably spent $6~8K so far. This is including a set of tires. Maybe I am lucky but Porsche cars are solid IMO.

That's the first thing you've said that I've seen that didn't appear to be provocative/trolling. Perhaps you are correct I should have let him keep posting and he would have eventually wondered why I didn't respond, that would have been fun.

a lot of people think im a troll and thats fine with me. there is a lot of delusion on this forum but there is also a significant core of people with experience that i value as a potential buyer and a huge fan. if you look closely i think you will see that i only criticize posts where the premise doesnt justify the conclusions. i dont attack people (well i think i can be a little harsh but not intentionally. im working on that) or their choices.

if im a troll its because i think that fwd isnt the end of the world, $1000 dollar coilovers are never the best bang for buck, lap times dont lie and the frs isnt the greatest car in the world.

i guess what im trying to say is that if you disagree with someone, provide reasoning to justify your counter argument. dont just call someone a troll while simultaneously egging them on.

Just traded the FJ in for an 08 A6 4.2 (for the wife and baby), and now I have the Audi bug.

S4 or A6 3.0T Prestige would be nice (newer with LED headlights).

Of course a used C6 Corvette with LS3 would be easy for me to mod at my current place of employment.

370z Nismo came into consideration for a split second.

Even though I had these thoughts, after driving the FR-S this weekend, I realized I would be sacrificing a lot to go to any of those vehicles. Weight matters =).

I was right though John Morgan's statement was flawed, at some point you have to know the price. The smart people with a lot of money ask and watch their finances very carefully, the showoffs don't care and end up broke. FWD isn't the end of the world but it's one massive step in that direction. It's already been proven that RWD can be just as efficient as FWD, therefore I don't see the need for there being mostly FWD cars.
