Yes, it's at the Oasis and the British invasion is happening this week. It's going to be crowded. I suggest getting there at around 9:30 am. I'll be there! If we get there around 9:30 we'll be able to park in our own section and won't be thrown all over the place.

It's just a gathering of a lot of cars to walk around and look at. Sometimes there's a mobile dyno there that shows up. It's just a fun meet to get out and see a lot of different cars.

Anyone here have their car treated with Opti-coat? If so, who'd you take it to? Just picked up a new brz and want to keep it looking awesome.

I'm also considering a clear bra, so any suggestions are welcome. I'm in NW Austin but I'll happily drive for a job well done.

Good detailers in Austin? Due to some water spots and swirls on my black FRS, I need some paint correction work. Anyone know of a good detailer in town? I live in Bastrop, but can drive to Austin for the work, and have a house + driveway I could use for a mobile service if necessary.

A place that offers an Opti-coat service would also be nice, as I am considering getting that done as well.

I've had xpert auto detailers recommended to me by a body shop. I haven't used them though because I like to detail my own cars. I saw on their website they do opti-coat.

Was told an initial estimate of August. based on the experience of others I am assuming it might be faster than that.

Ordered it 4/25, got the car yesterday, just a couple of days shy of three months.

Just an update to my previous question about where to have Opti-Coat and clear bra done:

Per a suggestion from a previous poster in this thread, I ended up going down to Jay's Detail in San Antonio for clear bra, Opti-Coat treatment, and window tint. Man am I glad I did! Jay was great to work with and delivered exactly as promised (and more!) at an extremely reasonable price. I know that not everyone can afford to go down to San Antonio for a couple days to allow enough time for the Opti-Coat to cure, but if you can, I highly recommend Jay @ JaysDetail.com.

And if you're still a skeptic after reading all this, check out all the Ferraris that he has detailed on both his Facebook page and his website.

Hey guys, I just got my Pearl White BRZ from Georgetown Subaru at the beginning of June! Loving the car so far! Lately I've been seeing a whole lot of FRS' around town, but haven't come across any BRZ's yet. Where are y'all at!?

I drive around central Austin every Wednesday-Friday. Look for the shark fin and you'll know it's me.
