Hey all - I've got the official thread up for the Driveway Austin Course here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9533

You can use the calendar link to mark if and when you'd be able to attend. Hopefully we can make this happen!

Date of event is still up in the air - we should probably nail down the schedule before July 15th. That work for you?

So there's a pretty large car meet that happens every Saturday night at the frys parking lot in front of the furniture store. I passed by last night around 10:30 and there were a ton of people and cars there, mostly imports. They couldn't keep their eyes off my car as I drove by. I couldn't stop though, had things to so. Annnnnnyway, we sould all go as a group next week!

Just read the article and checked out the photo - says it's the 86er in the area, so it's gotta be Luxmn I think. Lux, let us know how it went from your side and it's a great write-up. Nice that they include you in the article as well!

yeah that is me. now yall know why I have to be in my best behaviors with the wife writer is a member here, a cool wrx driver. We went to Lime Creek, had a good time and he'll hook me up with those professionally captured photos next week, will definitely share!

As for the training course Dang_Lad, best time for me is mid August, July is super busy for me at work and September I have to host the in-laws. The course takes 3 days right?

About this Saturday meet, can we take a role call for 9:30 am?

3.

The imports meet at night sounds fun but I promised some home cook activities with the wife that night so I'll have to pass

It's actually just one day, but from 9-3:30pm with lunch included, so it should be easier to attend than 3 days .

I'll be tentative for Saturday Morning - I have a work party the night before so 9:30 might be a stretch, but hopefully I can make it.

Yeah it was pretty cool, there had to be at least 80 cars there, a lot of bikes too. It's funny too because all the subbies were parked next to the other subbies, same with the scions and every other car type. Who would we park next to? :/ hahaha
