Still planning I think. Working out the name, I know some people have stepped up to help organize, but I don't think there's anything "official" yet.

For this reason alone I have to go with TOCA. I kid. Subi and yota are common nicknames for the two companies. Toyo and baru are not common nicknames, except Toyo might not like it. For this reason, I have to go with TOCA.

I think we should look up the meanings in Japanese before we get too carried away though.

In the US SS means SuperSport or something. I know very well what SS was in 30's-40's Germany. So I'm torn.

Laguna is tough. Expensive, serious noise restrictions with a few exceptions (which we'd never get).

I'd love to do an event of my own at LS but it's incredibly unlikely to ever happen.

Since we are talking about a US based group with the event happening in the US I find it hard to believe that we'd offend any Germans. IMO most car people think of SuperSport when they see SS which is why I don't like the name.

I also don't like that it just stands for Subaru Scion.

The last part is my point. The twins are part Toyota part Subaru. The Scion part is just a badge.

TECNA sounds pretty good, actually! Easy to say and it makes sense!

not for nothing but I noticed brzerhood.com was not taken so I went ahead and registered it. I am hoping to set up a blog and forum similar to this site soon. If anyone has any other ideas for the site throw them my way.
