I don't think it does...The whole point of Skyactiv was that since 90% of vehicles on the road are still gasoline/diesel, instead of trying to jump to hybrid/electric/alternative fuels right now, they set out to maximize potential of the gasoline internal combustion engine, so that we could be as efficient as possible until new technologies become more affordable.
