6/22/2013 - Mohegan Sun Rooftop Meet

Not as big as Boston Strong but Steve86, Sklimo and myself met at Home Depot and drove to the Mohegan Sun Rooftop Meet. When we arrived most cars were in the parking lot so we drove up the 6 stories of the garage to the rooftop to check it out. Probably the best part, drifiting around the turns going up, exhausts blaring and with no security and no one in the way.

Very few cars were on the roof so we decided to go back down and join the much larger group in the lot. It was even more fun going back down the ramps! Parked in a row, we were joined by one more BRZ. So four 86s in total. By now the hosts had asked the remaining rooftop cars to come back down to the lot.

Then the cars really started rolling in. With little room left in the lot, they proceeded up to the roof of the garage, complete with burnouts and tires squealing. Security was now on-site and they were not pleased! Sounded great from where we were though...

All in all a good meet, I saw a few old friends, met some new ones and from my late discussion with security, it sounded like they were OK overall with most of the attendees. We might even have a shot at doing this again. Our thanks go out to the Six Speed Mafia for putting this on.
