Do you (or anyone else) think there'd be a problem running that size/model in the front.

people have reported that it fits just fine I may try it myself but right now I'm content with a staggered set up.

I'd like to hear how the car changes when you switch the larger tires to the front and the smaller tires to the rear. It'd be a good direct comparison of whether wider tires actually increase grip on this car

I can probably do this for you... If they make a good course this weekend, I'll try it sunday. Strange local club format allows us to run whenever we want essentially....

We've run them. They are difficult to mount, so your tire mounter may not like you much after.

We noticed good lateral grip vs 225. Feel after initial turn in is a bit more vague and there may be a slight increase in understeer but it can be dialed out with tire pressure, fsb setting/choice, alignment.

I have my second autox in the BRZ this weekend, fully stock. The last time out I felt like I was sliding all over almost the entire time. Air temp was about 80 and loose pavement.

My questions are:
1. How should I set up my alignment (caster, f/r camber, and f/r toe) for autox and DD without too much excessive wear on the Primacys?

2. What PSI should I be aiming for in the autox? Last time PSI was around 38-40 (with my cheap gauge). It should be around 90 air temp this weekend and same location.

If you want grip, start with tires. Stock ones are useless in any competitive driving. Get grippiest street tires you can fi d and feel the difference. Suspension tuning should only be next step after that.

But right now I still have the stock tires. I hope to get new tires in a few months. So I am looking for recommendations with my current setup.

get the crash bolts for the front and max out the camber.
castor really isn't adjustable.
0 degree toe in front.

+0.1 toe-in for the rear tires.
camber isn't adjustable.

tire pressures: 35 psi all around.
the OEM tires do not grip so no need to change psi from stock.
have fun!

after two years on the stock tires doing a bit of track and a bit of autocross I can tell you that just keeping them at stock pressures works perfectly well,

there's nothing there for you to chase

Hell be chasing the back end of the car as it passes him if his experience is anything like mine with the car in 100% stock trim

How maxed out is maxed out? Should I really ask for as much as I can get for a DD or is there are good target number to shoot for?
