Huge thanks again to Henry for letting me run the car. These cars are way too much fun in C-Street. Ran out of gear a few times, but nothing that would want to make me put a taller tire on the car. Anyone think CS-R will have any competition at any of the tour event?

I've only done one event at ~40 degree temperatures this year with the DS2500s. They are better than stock, but I'm not sure they're absolutely necessary... just waiting on warmer weather to fine tune things.

I'm highly doubtful. Maybe at nationals where people will toss on some hoosiers to try to win a national championship... but I'm pretty confident that's about it.

Well first thing is first. I ran whatever I could last season on stock tires, so the first mod for this season will be a set of ZII's I picked up. I mapped out tire/brake temperatures with a pyrometer last year after runs, so I have a baseline to compare when I switch tires. If there is less heat generated on the brakes after I switch to the new tires, then I may just stick with the stock pads until the warranties run out :p

I should post my spreadsheets when I get a chance, for anyone running stock tires, it'd be a great starting point...

I could have beat the two CS-R times on my DD tires haha. I kinda wish I had jumped at the last minute.

Im going to be watching Nationals registration up until cutoff time. If CSR looks viable, I may cheat and jump haha. Who wouldn't like to be the only person to ever have a "CSR" jacket?

Just an FYI - as of yesterday ZII's were discontinued on Tire Rack. However, the ZII Star Spec wont be out until November. If you plan to need a second set you may want to get them now.

I need decide which car to focus on, because I really don't want to buy another 2 sets of ZII's.

I saw that, really disappointed. Luckily I have life left on mine and a brand new set in my dining room.

Dunlop is going to hurt themself and make people buy Rivals at a crucial time Im sure. Bad move to do this so early in the year with a big break in time

Yup this summer is a tire debacle. I ordered another set of tires today, so now I'm done with ordering tires for the year. Hopefully this works out
