Agree with Kido though, everyone just has to pick a starting point and work from there. I chose 235/45, he chose 235/40. I may very well switch as this season gets underway as I learn more. If I had the wallet for it, I'd have a set of everything in every size I can fit on a 16-18" 7" wide wheel, but I don't.
I am going with 215s for a multitude of reasons, the largest being cost.

Not to change the topic of discussion, but I got my Bilstein HD (B6) struts/shocks today! They'll be going on this Saturday so that I can try them out at my local autocross this Sunday.

Alright, finally pulled the trigger on some ZIIs in the 215s on the new Kosei K4Rs. Come on autocross season!

Edit: Called Tirerack and changed to the K4Rs after remembering to recheck the weights. I was told they would be close in weight before Tirerack actually had the weights for the K6Rs. K4Rs are 14.0lbs and the K6Rs are 16.35lbs... close? Not so much.

I wimped out and just bought another set of OEM wheels and 225/45 z2s. Its so scorching hot here all the time, I really wish I could find some RS3s as everyone says they loveeee the heat.

Ill probably got STX next season, as Im already getting the mod bug.

I'll be on some new Dunlop Z2's (225/45), so that will make a difference as well, but hopefully I can get a feel to some extent for improvements from the suspension versus just the new tires.

I have Motul in the STi, will probably use it in the BRZ. As long as it's a quality brand, just pick one and go with it?

I use Motul Gear 300 in the transmission and Motul Gear 300LS in the diff.

Motul worked for me; nice to not have the gearbox crunch anytime the temp dropped below 60.

Seems as good a place as any. The new ride! Will drop back in on CStreet as necessary to keep the local folks in line
