Well it looks like my RS1.0 under this wording can move to DS. This is the part that worries me though...

I guess this thread should just be called the Spec Miata Discussion thread now. To D-Street we all go

Does it not have the TRD suspension parts? Or do you mean you can swap to the non-TRD parts and go to DS? I don't think it goes to DS as shipped.

I've reached out to them for clarification so I guess we'll see. It's rather stupid really.

For once, I'm glad my off-season is ~5-6 months. If I had to guess, I'll be raising the car up and running DS next year, but I never did get to try my car in full CS trim, so...

On the bright side, our car is THE car to have for DS now. I think a turbo Mustang/Camaro, WRX, and 228/328 M-Sport could work on the right course in DS, but we should not have any excuses in 2017. I still wouldn't want our car for ProSolos though.

As long as you downgrade rear TRD swaybar and use stock FRS springs from that year (All same from 13-16?), you will be ok (suspensionwise). The front and side Aero package would be the questionable parts (could just unbolt for autocross at a national event). All the rest is under comfort and convenience allowance.

Beautiful cars in the Yellow!
