I'll be there as well. 199 CS. If anybody is running Rival S tires and interested in doing a back to back with Bridgestones on the test course, let me know. I can provide the Bstones and we can both drive them on one of the cars. PM me if interested and we can work out the details.

So is it confirmed that there will be a test course? I have heard mixed rumors.

so I had a local last week in the rain, on a very bumpy lot with a lot of tight turns, sealed asphalt. The TRD suspension was NOT very good at this site, in the rain on 235/45/17 stones. I ran in the same heat as an SSM C5 Z06 on the same tires, who I figured I'd be able to straight time in the slippery wet conditions, but he was about a full second faster than me, in the same heat an STR NC Miata with a very good driver was about 2+ seconds faster than me on Dunlops on a 65 second course. I still beat these cars on index, but I figured the raw time in the rain would be a lot better. I did beat the local CS cars by 3.5 seconds+. Index was won by an STS CRX that ran about 2 seconds faster than me in a slightly dryer third heat, but I thought the FR-S would do a bit better in these conditions. Wavy bumpy lot probably didn't help the TRD springs any,and tight turns with tall tires were probably no help either. I ran 24F/25R Psi on my fastest run.

I'll likely be on the polar opposite at the Toledo express airport this weekend, with very high speeds, dry weather, and salt-flat smooth concrete. I'm hoping for better results.

What shocks are you using to control the springs?

Those are some awfully low pressures, says the guy who likes 45psi. But really, higher rear pressure than front? Seems odd.

Rain events can be weird, and the SSM/STR drivers could be secret aces in the wet. Brush that dirt off your shoulder and do the next event.

Quick question, is the fiveaxis spoiler legal in CS? I've found one mention of it being a port option in the STX thread. Just want to be sure.

Running my '13 FR-S with the Red Deer Sports Car Club in Alberta, my first season of autocross. This thread has been a gold mine, so thanks to everyone.

Remember, this was in the WET. Sealer on the lot, very bumpy, no traction. Lower pressures should be beneficial. What are you running the RE71's at in the dry? I'm at like 30-31 hot. Slightly lower than what I ran in the rivals. The sidewalls are far to stiff to need 45 PSI in the dry, that seems crazy.
I ran the Koni yellow shocks at 1/4 from full soft in the rear, and maybe 1/8 turn stiffer than that in the front. Low grip/rain should call for softer everything from my experience, but I was surprised the car wasn't faster this day....

6th of 84 on PAX, guess it's not too bad, but I had higher hopes in the rain. I would have tried running with sport mode stability control if I had another shot at it....

Dont think the 5axis one is a port option, but what goes for Canada may be different. YMMV

I don't see a way to build an FRS online with that spoiler. Without additional documentation that's likely a no.

You aren't likely to get protested for it, but if you get protested you will lose. It's up to you if you're ok with that.

Those of you running a more aggressive brake pad, are you running the same compound front and rear?
