No legality issues as mentioned. Other side benefit, though of getting the full struts: If you keep the factory struts around, you'll have something cheap and easy (the un-mangled factory struts in the original housing) to toss on the car if/when you send the Konis out for rebuild/conversion, etc.

The full strut up front is worth the extra cost.

Be aware that the rears require drilling the top hat wider to receive the Konis, so if you do want to put the old struts back on, you will need new top hats.

Thanks for the replies. Mike's comment above (about keeping the stock front struts to be able to put them on the car later) was one of my main reasons for asking. I don't mind the labor of installing an insert, but I'd like to keep the stock struts intact. Thanks for the help!

last regional autocross for the year in Canada

woulda been a raw ftd if it wasn't for a cone and the fact that it stopped raining mid day AFTER our group had gone, so 2/3s of the field got a few completely dry attempts closer to the end

Season is over for me.

Off season work will be...buying new tires and driving faster in the spring. I like this "Street" class stuff. Less wrenching, more driving.

WDCR region CS is becoming a competitive group. Hopefully it stays that way.

Just had our last event of the season yesterday. 40 degrees and rain. First time I've been able to choose what the rear does at will with my right foot. Spun twice and had a blast.

Our (far from last) event was yesterday. 90+, ball sweat and all. Did some of the best driving I've ever done. Freaking car is on POINT on concrete.

I've had the same experience. I don't know if it's the car or me, but its especially fast on wet concrete.

I didn't read the letters RS before BS and nearly shat myself, first thought was "is it April already?"

This is the most laughable thing in the Fastrack for Nov.

Why is it laughable? The SEB has had a habit lately of bumping rare limited edition cars into a higher class than the base models. See also S2000 CR, Nismo 370Z

They put the listing under Toyota, not Scion. Swing and a miss...
