So after owning an automatic limited BRZ for over a year, I decided that I had enough of the automatic action and got a manual FR-S. I know that seems kind of silly, but the extra/more expensive features of the limited BRZ didn't really do much for me, so I was able to break even on the deal and get the manual I always wanted!

Anyway, I swapped over my OEM crash bolts and Whiteline 20mm sway bar yesterday and unfortunately, my new FR-S will only give me -0.8 camber in the front (I got -1.4 with my BRZ). Any RTR legal adjustments I'm missing here? I just swapped the top bolt, pushed the rotors in as far as I could, and tightened everything down (had to adjust toe of course). Am I just unlucky?

Yea, I think so a bit... You might be able to losen the top hat and get a tad more but not likely.

Seems like you can get anywhere from .8 to 1.4 on these cars... I think I ended up at 1.1 being what I could get.

If you are swapping wheels you may want to do ARP studs / Blox nuts (or something fancier).... I just did mine this weekend after stripping 2 studs.

Got a smoking deal on some Koni's so they are on the way too...

I hear ya on the lug studs. In the year I had my BRZ I did manage to strip one stud and had to get that replaced. Getting aftermarket studs will definitely be on my radar.

I use Muteki 32905N (open ended, long, not keyed) and haven't stripped a stud. I have ARP studs to put on the front yet for my spacers but I've changed the tires probably 20 times without issue. Torqued to 75ft lbs.

I was able to get -1.5 and -1.7 with just the OEM crash bolts.

Ugghhh, so jealous....oh well! Maybe after I drive around/autoX for a few months, the suspension components will develop a little more slop and then I can loosen up the bolts and try to squeeze out some more camber.

I spoke with another owner at Fedex last Sunday. He said he got 1.8* with the OEM bolts. He put it on a rack, loosened everything and retightened it all down.

Let me know if one of you RTR guys are ready to take the jump into STX.

I am probably parting out my built STX Brz at Nationals when I am done running.

It would be nice to sell Everything to one person, and they end up with a great STX car.

Looks like I'm going to make the jump to STX but unfortunately I've already amassed most of the parts to do so. I was going to just run CS next year and STX in 2015 but I don't think I can hold off. You definitely have some stuff I would be interested in though.

Highly unlikely Ill be able to do anything quickly enough but let me know what the STX mods would cost.

That exhaust is mighty tempting. I can't seem to find how much it weighs.
