Aluminum hoods and trunks are nothing special these days. Miata's have used aluminum hoods since 89. My 97 F150 also has one.

The trunk is steel. I had to drill mine to install my spoiler and used a magnet to get all of the shavings out... Would not have worked with aluminum...

I hear that, while driving, if you turn the steering wheel and mash the buttons in the following manner, Chuck Norris shows up and roundhouse kicks your car to 300 mph:
B = Brake A = Accelerator How you steer up and down is the only thing I havent figured out yet. |

I found an interesting one the other day. I was pulling into the driveway and decided to pop the trunk before I came to a stop, didn't let me do it. As soon as I stopped I pushed the button on the dash again and it finally opened. I think I was maybe doing 7-8 MPH.

I learned a feature too, because the suspension is entirely steel and cast iron it bends for awesome camber angles for parking.
If it were aluminum I could not get stanced like this.

Things about "Canada" are not taught in US history classes in either junior/high or even post secondary unless you determine yourself to, so I would not blame a US resident for knowing nothing of their northern Neighbor to be honest. Many Americans I have met have no clue of the geography or history in Canada, zip really... In Canada however we did learn all the US history on top of our own and most all of other countries "highlights" if you will.. |
