When you're at 4,000 rpm in 2nd gear and you floor the throttle to zip around someone, or just to feel that push into the back of the seat, you're left feeling...underwhelmed.

Car needs more balls.

100hp/L N/A 2.5L engine would be awesome, IMO.

the 92-95 civic hatch is one of my favorite chassis. throw a b18 in there with good suspension and it will keep up with any car.

That's your problem right there. According to another thread, this cars BEAST gear is 4th.

I know exactly how you feel...I love nearly everything about this car, and I can easily overlook things like the faux carbon dash, the HVAC controls, the cheapo stereo, but man, the lack of umph is just how you put it...underwhelming...
