Im currrently deployed and I'm still getting compliments towards my car lol! I have it as my desktop wallpaper at work currently. ive setup it up to change photos every 3min and the other two photos are of a GTR and a FD
When they see my Frs

"Damn thats a nice car is that yours?!" I say yup thanks! I freaking miss it bad! haha

"Dang that car is nice is it your dream car or somethin?"

"Nah it is my car, I do love it though lol my dream cars are the 94 RX7 and The New GTR is more of a fantasy car (cause i will never own one) lol"

They usually respond with something along the lines of "well your car definitely loooks as great as those other two"

-Winning lol

Cute girl at the In N' Out drive-thru making burgers behind the glass made eye contact and mouthed "I love your car". I said thank you. In retrospect it was a missed opportunity for meat in bun jokes :/

Damn - I'd like 18x8.5" in those but they only do 18x8.0" in the 5x100.

I love em, ultra lightweight, and beautiful. I think there's another manufacturer that makes almost the same ones for less that may do them in your size though. I was thinking about them before I found these on craigslist for deals lol

Driving out of the local water slide and indoor playland called Bingemans heard a kid exclaim, "That car is awesome!". Hearing that never gets old.

Kid: Mom, look, they all have the same car, it's so cool

Mom: Yeah, look, they are all driving Porsches

I was at a mini Cars and Coffee meet this morning when this kid and his dad walk up and start looking at all the Mustangs and Corvettes that always show up. Then they take out a camera and I thought to myself oh hey they're just taking a picture of the Mustang next to me (it was a supercharged Coyote 5.0 with drag radials) then I notice that they are actually taking a picture of my car. That was pretty cool to me lol

My cousin said something similar when he saw my car for the first time. "Wow look at that Porsche!"

He's 40 btw.

I stopped to get gas and as I'm filling up the guy on the other side with one of the newer fusions started asking me about the car and how i liked it. He was the first person whos immediate first comment wasn't "wow, it's so small!" or "what is it with you and small cars?"

Heading to dinner and a movie, my wife and I had a brand new 4 door V6 Accord driver gawking in every direction while slowing to a stoplight. Looking sideways as he pulled forward into the 2 o'clock position like he was locked on target and then some interesting contortions to look out his side mirror. He either didn't have a clue what he was looking at or perhaps he had been convinced into buying a family sedan instead of what he really wanted (something like an FR-S).

I was visiting some family in a very small town in northern Michigan over the holiday weekend. Drove my little cousins up to a convenience store to get some ORV stickers for their dirt bikes. While they were inside, a good ol' boy pulled up next to me in a Jeep. He leans out the window and asks, "What's tha' thing got under the hood?" For some reason he seemed surprised that it was a 4cyl. lol The conversation continued with the standard questions, "What kinda transmission it got?" "How much ya spend on 'er?" etc.

Really nice guy actually, it was a pleasant conversation. Also had the girl at the register of the Shell, I filled up at before leaving, tell me how much she liked my car and that the color is perfect. It feels good to get some love for the FR-S in the middle of small town America, particularly in the state that is all about 'Murican built cars! haha
