Subscribed for more detail in the future. Where is the restrictor inside the super charger that I keep hearing about? Off the shelf the unit is restricted where you can only make 210 whp but supposedly once you remove the "restrictor" you can target above 250whp

The restrictor is actually between the SC and the IC, it chokes the flow almost 50%.

How does one remove the restrictor? Is it as simple as a pipe diameter replacement or is it like a cap that sits at the end of the pipe near the coupler connection that is removable. Kind of like a removable silencer on an exhaust.

I installed an HKS Oil Cooler too. I would recommend it.
Without the restrictor my tuner got around 300whp in a test, but then I should have changed a lot of other stuff around. Not my goal. |
