In the stock form the Automatic tranny can handle 450 HP and 425 lb/ft of torque... The manual can only handle 220 hp and 200 lb/ft torque before the clutch starts slipping... That's what I was referring to. So at 220 hp you have to upgrade the clutch.

The Perrin car is at 300whp on stock clutch, there are AVO cars running 250+whp and 220+wtq on stock clutch.

I said it starts slipping at 220... Not that you have to upgrade it... But its highly recommended...

Ok, so I got my baseline numbers and my numbers after the exhaust was installed... Baseline was 146.3 HP and 120.2 lb/ft torque... After doing my exhaust I'm sitting at 167.3 HP and 145.8 lb/ft of torque now I need to get a full tune for it and ill be good to go or my F/I kit... I like the numbers so far but still have some of the torque dip problems... They should go away when I get the full tune done.

Was the dyno done on the same day? Its hard to believe a 21hp and 25 lb torque gain from a cat back exhaust on a n/a 2L engine. Is this with a base map tune or just bolt on exhaust without the tune?

Just for reference, I have a catless front pipe, 2.5in Invidia N1, Perrin CAI, LWCP, and a open source custom tune with BRZedit, and gained about 13hp / 15 lb torque.

If your numbers are 100% correct, then your bolt on parts will be the highest power upgrade I have ever witnessed on this forum, including headers w/o a tune. A bolt-on header gains about 5hp w/o a tune.

It wasn't on the same day but the ambient temp was only 2 degrees different... I dont have a tune from brzedit or fa20club or anything like that but I did do a little tuning of the air/fuel mix and some rpm changes... Nothing major... I was surprised by the numbers on the Dyno as well... I'm gunna tun it again when I get my header and overpipe as well... Gunna do another baseline and then with the header and overpipe...
