Thanks for the love guys!
In other news... I was contacted last week by a member here on the forum about having my car featured on one of Scion's websites. Of course, I happily obliged; and here we are: https://ssl.scion.com/owners/web/pag...cleId=SIAT2570 It's nice to see that others have come into this thread and found my insight/opinions valuable, and felt like they learned something useful here. It's also nice to see that others enjoy this car as much as I do. I am a bit upset though, as I'm probably going to have to sell the TE37s. With the amount of angle I'm working into this car, 18x9.5s are simply WAY too big to run on the front of this car; even with LCAs adjusted out to widen the front track. Furthermore, I can't run a 17/18 staggered size due to the wheel speed sensors on this car freaking out when there's too much of a difference between wheel/tire diameter/speed; so that's out of the bag as well. I'm going to look into it more this weekend to see if there's a way that I can figure out how to make it work; as I REFUSE to run rocket bunny fenders on this car, or have wheels that stick out of my fenders and sacrifice the look/fitment it has right now. If I can't make it happen, the wheels, fenders, and maybe even the duckbill/trunk will be up for sale/trade and I'll be on the lookout for some 17s.

You'll figure it out, you have really good taste in your modding so whatever's next will most likely be good.
I'm attending my first drift event January 3rd! Just nervous about beating on the car :/ I picked up some 16" wrx alloys to run as spares in the rear and a set of used 195/50 for free |

Thanks! I'm so torn on it cause I love the wheels. TEs are one of my all time favorites and I finally have a set. At the same time though, what good is it if I can't even use them? Have fun at the event. Just know yours and the car's limits and take it a step at a time. Find some people with some good seat time and ask them for tips or for ride alongs. People are normally pretty friendly

The DZ102s are a good overall tire I'd say.
They do everything I need them to for daily driving, which isn't much lol. Good dry grip. Decent wet grip. They did fine in the snow we had about a month ago but that's to be expected. They didn't just randomly lose traction anywhere in the snow. Only time they would slip is I acted like a child and put the foot down in 1st or 2nd. If the tires are cold, they seem to not grip anywhere near as good-regardless of the weather/conditions. Truth be told, they don't really feel any different under normal driving compared to Federals, Nexens, Nankangs, or Achilles that I've driven on a lot. On another note, new wheels are on the way. TE37s, tires, and Todoroki fenders will be up for sale soon. Probably gonna sell the leg sport duckbill as well for something smaller. Maybe a 5:AD one. So if anybody wants wheels/fenders for tax season, lemme know!!!! lol Also flashed the Stage 1 OFT tune on the car this past weekend. Going from stock to Stage 1 with that intake is a decent little bump. Nothing big, but definitely noticeable. Exhaust is coming this week, so I'll pair that with the header and switch to stage 2 which will hopefully be exactly what I need.

Awesome build so far. Any plans to bake/black out the headlamps or snag some Spec-Ds / WinJets / etc?

I'll probably end up doing chrome housing Winjets if I replace the headlights. I've just been putting it off since it isn't high on my priority list. I still need a new front bumper and corner lights too. Maybe I'll just do everything at once when I've grown tired of seeing my busted front bumper lol. Also really thinking about getting some decent aero since I'll be using the stock fenders again. I'm kinda torn between the vertex and stillen stuff. I don't like either of the rear spats though so whatever I get, it'd just be the front and sides until I found something good for the rear.

I've seen the driveway labs stuff and it's ok but I don't feel like it'll flow with the car when everything is said and done. I'm not really big on those aluminum, giant diffusers on this car either. I'm not looking for aerodynamics to shave lap times. More just aesthetics

17s are just too small for those fenders in my opinion. They way the fenders bulge out screams for the need of 18s or else you'll always have some type of gap there.
They're AMAZING fenders; I still say they're the best fenders available for this car by a mile. The problem is that I have no use for them with the smaller width 17s. I have 15mm spacers on these wheels just to get the fronts to sit flush with the stock fenders. I know they'll work with the additional steering angle though and that's what matters to me. Plus, I kinda want different aero and the todoroki fenders will only work on a few skirts unless you have the extension piece.
