while a tune may not be required, you will not be getting the most out of your header without one.

I've got the dyno numbers that say different. I'd love to see them with a tune as well though, some day. Track time is more important right now for me.I just want to make sure people know that you don't "need" a tune with headers. My AFR looks good, and the headers were designed to be fine on stock tune, and it pulls nice and hard (and these were the first dyno proven headers on the forums, I might add).

I still think you would notice a nice difference with a custom tune though because the stock cam timing is the way it is to work around the limitations of the stock header in the dip region. So, to revise my opinion headers that don't flow much better than stock probably won't benefit from, or change afrs enough to warrant a custom tune.
