I noticed the locking rings can easily get loose so make sure you tighten them. |

I will check on this. I did the install with a friend and myself. I'll have a shop reinstall these and see if the noise is still present.

In any event, as long as everyone is happy. That's really what matters! Some have different tolerances for what's acceptable and what's not I guess. |

-At 1'' drop, the rear springs have no preload at full droop. The springs will just wiggle around. This probably isn't a big issue daily driving, but I'm not sure what will happen at the track if the rear wheel lifts and there's no load on the springs. -At 1'' drop, the fronts are basically are on the last thread. I can't see this going lower than 1.25''. -I'm not so sure if the update actually improved the ride quality, lol. Last edited by ayau; 07-19-2013 at 03:31 AM. |

Are you running the off the shelf spring rates? Im on full soft with off the shelf rates and i dont feel the bounciness, very comfy ride IMO.

That doesn't really make sense to me, but if it works then it works.

I would have preferred to keep the helper so at full droop the spring is still located on the top hat and perch properly but instead the solution was to insert an internal spacer to limit droop travel. Yet at full droop at a conservative 25mm drop the spring was still dancing around in there loose So yes, it doesn't make sense to me too... Last edited by RYU; 07-19-2013 at 07:35 PM. |

I have installed the latest version of the R1 and the clunking in the front/rear is very annoying. Also seems the front end is very bouncy and yes I have played around with the rebound and the car is not riding on the bumpstops. The endlinks are secure and nothing else suspension wise has been changed. The rear is a set at a very moderate height maybe 1'' lower and it looks like I have a 1.5'' of travel before I hit the bumpstop-is this OK?
I have only ever run KW V3 or RCE T2 in any of my Subarus with Vorshlag/GTWorx camber plates and never had an issue with noise or driveability. Hopefully Eibach can figure out the problems. |
