I think it depends more on the shipping to and from as they said 2-3 days for the actual update. They did mention the option to expedite the return shipping at our cost of course. So I assume if you are willing to pay for fast shipping both ways you are looking at a week or just over.
I am leaning toward over 2 weeks to account for the ground shipping of the coilover box and then I burn a day to put them back on. |

Got my coilovers back from eibach and installed them. The annoying noise that came from the helper spring is gone since they removed it and the ride is much more bearable for DD (it passed the gf test lol). I'm in the process of moving so I probably won't see a track for a while so I can't comment whether there's a change in performance. It still feels more solid than stock though.
In terms of turn around time, eibach took about 5 business days to rebuild it and ship it out. I live in NorCal so the shipping was only 2 days each way so sandwiching the weekends together, it took a total of exactly 2 weeks door to door. |

My R2 coilovers were updated and they're on their way back. Will receive them this Thursday. Let's see how they'll handle.

Just got my R2's back. The new spring looks to be just right to solve the helper spring noise, and a new compression knob on all the external reservoirs (seems easier to grip than the original ones).
I will be installing them this weekend when I have time. Just perfect as I now can put on my 17x9 +35 rpf1's on new RE-11A's. All that is left is my bbk and alignment. |

My coilovers came in today. Somehow Eibach sent me the updated original 275/350 rates when I shipped them 500/600 rates. I spoke with Mark K. and he said he'll let me keep the extra springs and send me the longer 500/600 springs with expedited shipping. Props to Eibach for supporting their customers!
As part of the update, a new compression knob is used. When I asked Mark about the knob, he said that some lower control arms rubbed against the original knobs, and that's why they updated to the slimmer ones.

@Jackson or anyone know the size and thread pitch of the front/rear top nuts?
Also how do you properly torque the center nuts/bolts? I'm assuming the fronts would just spin and the rear is now sitting on rubber, so i'd guess the torque value has changed. |

I'll be installing my updated R2 this Thursday when my springs come. Just curious, is this the first time you've had aftermarket coilovers on your car?

@JackSmiley, I have had this thud with the Pro-Street coilovers and posted a topic about it here:

I think you guys who still have these coilovers are just going to have to get use to these noises. I couldn't. I sold them. Lost $$$. Bought another set. Finally Happy even though I ended up spending a lot more than I bargained for in the end. Live and learn!
