I'm not sure but I'll check, as well as if the trigger pressures can be adjusted. I'm also going to test if you can enter the same dummy ID the spare uses (which has no sensor) on the other wheels to get the system to ignor them like it does the spare.

Keep me posted on this. I would like to launch the idiotic lawyer-created tire pressure sensors into orbit, so anything that helps me do this would be welcomed. Also, I DO NOT want to have to pay for and put the silly things on when I buy new wheels.

I'm having trouble programming the sensor ID's probably because I'm using a cheap Chinese knockoff of the Mongoose cable you're supposed to use with Techstream. The real Mongoose is around $500 which is more then I'm willing to spend. I'm looking into the Tactrix Openport 2.0 cable for $170. They say it works with Techstream, but I haven't been able to confirm that it's fully compatible.

I'm with you on TPMS. It's a lot of extra cost for very little benefit. It was so annoying on my CRZ that in my effort to defeat it (unsuccessful) I gave myself quite the education in how the systems work.

If its like most newer cars there will be three options.

1. Pay for sensors, and pay to have someone reprogram them each time you switch wheels.

2. Pay for sensors, and buy a tool so you can reprogram them yourself each time you switch wheels.

3. Wheels without sensors, and live with the light being on.

I'm working towards the fourth option of getting the ECU to ignor the missing sensors but that's more just a part of my personal quest against TPMS. It's probably going to be fruitless. I already purchased sensors to go in my winter wheels.

In the mean time I've got the the tools to read sensors and program the ECU so if you need help with that let me know.

Hey what's up everyone! I'm just checking in; I own a raven FRS in Brooklyn Park area. I saw white out FRS on 252 yesterday, just wondering if it was anyone from this forum. Anyways, I look forward to getting to know the locals.

I'm on the fence still about going. If I do, I will just attend and not go until a little later. But I've got a busy work week so I'll let y'all know.

I won't make it to cars and coffee because I work on Saturdays. I was at Chanhassen on 7/7 and saw a few brz and frs but did not run into the owners. I wanted to park mine along with other frs/brz's but the lot was full by the time I got there so I parked along the road. Does anyone here show up to the rice killer meets on Monday's in Brooklyn Park?

We all met up beforehand and drove in together to make sure we could park together.

Probably do the same on Saturday if enough of us are going.
