That does appear to be very low key. Might even fool the dealer techs when you go for routine Maint heh heh

I was reading that the kit isn't very good for pushing past 250 without unnecessary strain on all components. More shipping included expense considering they're over seas as well.

Fortunately MAP and FBM are both within a 30 minute drive for me. So if that were the route Id be dead set on it would come down to one of those two. Both are still pretty spendy for their basic kits. There's up/ down sides to everything I suppose.

Aint no denying that!

Very good looking bay you have there. I was watching some in car vids of these kits. You were right about the beauty sounds they let you hear. Strange hearing an SC that doesnt whine but goes pshh instead heh heh

I'd go to FBM. I know a guy in Canada who has their kit, loves it. Plus LJ is a better 86 tuner, IMO.

Not even going to consider the question of sexy.

But, here's one for you both. I have seen many tower struts (solid or not), but never a single adjustable strut.

Advantages / disadvantages?

I tested Grimmspeed on this - I didn't really believe the hype on strut bars. But, they sent me a solid one to test, and sure and shit it worked.

That being said, i didn't like the placement (covered the pretty aluminum cover i have) and so I grabbed the Cusco one, since it also fit my blue theme.

Overall, i think the reason almost all of them, if not all, are non-adjustable, is because they are made specifically for the FT-86 platform. There's really no reason to adjust it. It's just supposed to keep the car from flexing beyond the spot it sits now during cornering.

This page has a ton of good info from Grimmspeed on the development of their bar, and while i'm not using it anymore, i still think its a solid performer.
http://www.grimmspeed.com/strut-tower-brace-brz-fr-s/

Best performance for the money in that category, if you ask me, and they did the research.

Love isn't a strong enough word lol jk. It has serves me well for 10's of thousands of miles without fault. And no one can even come close to @FullBlown for customer service. They treat myself and my friends like family.

Close with Jake and the other s2k owner up there?

Just out of curiosity.
