I hope you guys realize that the BRZ is not running anywhere near stock factory engine right?

It could be simply driver is better. In no way does this demonstrate that the $25-27k variant we get our peasant hands on is superior to the R8.

Nonetheless, good video.

Good to see good development and work on the BRZ platform in Super GT. It's a great place to gain a vast amount of data for new ideas and possibly updates to the car in the future. Speedhunters did a little snooping in the pits just to show everyone how different a SuperGT GT300 BRZ is compared to a factory model. It's really apples and grapefruit right now (ie: suspension, chassis, engine, etc...are all different)

It still uses the same chasis and that what matters,

HAHAHAHAHA!

The GT300 BRZ uses a part of the chassis...from the firewall to just behind the driver seat and then reinforces that with a tube frame. The front and rear are completely tube framed as well.

Are they still using that shitty old EJ25 motor or did they switch to the FA20 now..

By the way, good run and nice video, good to see how well the aerodynamic of the car is handling on its own out there.
