I think Dogfish Head is in Delaware...............

I found a place over in Ashburn, Va. on the way home from Mach V open house. It is called Lost Rhino Brewery and is located at
21730 Red Rum Dr #142 Ashburn, VA 20147. It is located in a very non-descript industrial center but it is a bustling place. They have beer to go in various sizes and some selections are available bottled. and food and drink there as well. If you like Yuengling then you will absolutely love this brew:
Holy Brew Brown

Belgian-style Brown Ale | 7.5 % | 24 IBU A Sweet brown ale with a spicy finish brewed with Pilsner, Caramel malts, as well Belgian Candi Sugar. The traditional ingredient of Belgian- Style beers, Candi Sugar add complexity to the sweet finish.

I think I'd be there every day if I lived closer.......

I think I need an excuse to go to Mach V...oh, wait, I do, in about a week or two.

Definitely a great beer. I had a Lagunitas IPA and Sierra Nevada Pale tonight. Pretty standard, but I'm partial to Dogfish Head and Pliny the Elder from Russian River.

This stuff is unbelievable. Being a big whiskey fan, I immediately fell in love with this beer. It was originally shown off at the Stone Brewery annual beer festival last August. I asked the guy "where can I buy some, and what's the limit on buying?" Was met with "it's just a prototype we're testing. It might be out soon." Fast forward to a month or so ago and I see it pop up on the Stone facebook page. I immediately drive over and pick up as many as I could afford at the time (5 bottles at $20 a piece). I went back for more later, but they were gone. They said it was a limited production run. If they're ever available again, I'm definitely getting some more. I really can't put into words how smooth, crisp, and amazing this beer is. It's like drinking a fine aged whiskey coke, but... even smoother. At 12.5% alc, it also lasts a while drinking it out of my 6oz glasses. I absolutely love this stuff. If anyone knows a similar beer, I would happily buy it.

Want a beer? It's a lager.
Lucky only sold it for a month or so in the spring, so I was jonesing most of the year.

What fits my pallate best now is Rogue Breweries Dead Guy Ale.

They do a Double Dead Guy in the authorized pubs, but it's not available from Safeway (more alcohol content).

A couple years ago, they printed up some 40's with a glow in the dark Dead Guy logo. Still have one on the shelf.
I'm not at home, or I'd post up a pic.
Love the Double Dead Guy!!! :happy0180:
