Yea this stuff is blowing up around here.. The minute you find out a store has it... It's sold out

Aw man, I just got back from a trip to Chicago. Looks like this brewery is based in Illinois. Saw it at a few places, and I assumed this had no alcohol content so I didn't think further about it, haha. I wonder if anywhere in SoCal has it.

Yeah, I have no idea. We can't get a hold of yuengling here on the west coast. A friend was able to bring me some from his trip to NY though.

During my tour at the Yuengling brewery, they said they are only sold in a few states on the east coast BUT they are sold at ALL military bases. So if you know a friend in the military that has access to a commissary, you might be able to get it there. I am from Philly and go back every year. I usually bring some back with me.

The Yuengling thing is really weird. I don't get why certain beers would be restricted in different areas. You couldn't get it anywhere around here for the longest time, now Ohio can sell it, but Kentucky still can't. I don't really get it, it's not like it's a super high proof or made with a dangerous ingredients. It's just a beer, right?

It's just a beer, although a nice clean tasting regional beer. It may have more to do with marketing and distribution; not being available everywhere makes it seem more exclusive. It's also possible that the brewery simply couldn't make enough to meet the demand if they were to go national (not enough brewing capacity).

So as an IPA lover I am constantly trying new ones.
Saw this for the first time at the store yesterday and figured since I like Fat Tire beer from New Belgium this would be worth a shot.

Its a good IPA, very distinct, and most certainly easily distinguishable as a New Belgium beer.

I'm drinking a local beer. Goodwood brewing from Louisville, KY. I'm having their Bourbon Barrel Stout, it's pretty good. I like my stouts.
