Looking to pick up a few games this weekend and I was wondering if anyone liked playing Persona 4 Arena and or Catherine? Not a fan of anime, but I've heard the games are challenging or unique.

Just picked up the PC versions (Steam Keys) of Darksiders, Darksiders II, Red Faction: Armageddon (including the Path to War DLC), Red Faction: Guerrilla, and the soundtracks through Humble Bundle's weekly sale all for <$10 with a contribution to charity!

Woo! More games on my heaping pile of Steam that I've been meaning to play but haven't gotten around to yet.

Try the demo for Catherine. I've heard it's good and can be very challenging. I played the demo but just never bought it. I took the cheap way out and just watched all of the endings.

And here's my current contribution.. After almost a year of being sober, I have once again started playing World of Warcraft... Thankfully, MoP is just about the best expansion since BC, imo.

The server issue seems to have been an initial launch thing, like any MMO-architecture goes through :P Every time I've touched it the last week, got right in. The only REALLY broken system right now is the join region setup. I was on the fence, but then I got a second game for free so :P

Yes, I know. It was a joke.

Problem is that Sim City wasn't and still isn't marketed as an MMO. I take this issue with Diablo 3 as well, but admittedly I'm a huge Blizzard fan and even moreso a Diablo fan, so I had to buy into it. But here's where my views differ.. SimCity single player could've easily been implemented with a few tweaks and wasn't. Diablo would've required server code to exist on the client machine, which makes exploits even easier. See Diablo 2 Open and SP for examples.

I saw the "Sorry the SimCity launch sucks, here's a free game" as well as the Origin "Player Appreciation" sales. It's just sort of sad that people buy it up and soon forget how bad of an experience it was. But then the execs say "Hey look, it sold a ton! Throw some more shit onto the pile!" Now it's one of the worst-rated games out there.

Sad, because it's an otherwise good game that I really enjoyed my time with the beta.

Yeah someone mentioned that so I checked out the endings on youtube. I was surprised how many different outcomes there were.

Now I'm saving my pennies for the new Bioshock instead.

....I need to jump on that humble bundle. too bad I can't gift out the games I already own though. Darksiders II is about the only thing I haven't gotten....most of the others were in other bundles I've bought.

....and I want to like the DMC reboot. I just will be waiting for it to be cheaper. I'm sure it can't be quite as cheesy as reviewers have made it out to be.....I hope.
