Sweet, I'll definitely be purchasing this when I get home. I have a strange feeling that the main harness has all the wires already ran for all the extra bits and we just have to buy the remainder of the harness. Hmmm, I can't wait for the 10th anniversary to start showing up in Toyota's parts system so I can see what else is needed for the other things.

Also, that harness doesn't go to a h11 plug correct? We'd have to buy an adapter to go from whatever the JDM fogs are to the h11 right?

That is the h11 harness -- it's plug n play.

Btw, the biggest reason I went through the trouble of finding this is because the price tag of 385 was so not worth this setup. I was quite upset at how high priced this setup was, when it had a kit. I can understand 320 or even 340 is a stretch, but going through I found everything and together with shipping was ~300, and it's almost exactly like the kit? bleh I think I did the forum members a favor.

Awesome find! Now I don't need that tangled mess of wires in my engine bay :happy0180:.

So just to give everyone a heads up, went to Toyota to check and the part number is in the system and can be ordered. List is $25 but cost was $18 and some change. No shipping charge and it'll be here Wednesday morning. Couldn't argue with that.

I also priced out what everything cost me, excluding the extra stuff like yellow bulbs and what not, and it was well under $300.

Fogs - $84
Stalk - $60
Bezels - $43 (shipped from amayama)
Harness - $38
Total - $225

what do you mean, "no dead zone" -- does it have the auto position for headlights?

could someone post a pic of the subaru 83115FJ070 stalk?

yes there stalk does have auto on it .... (but it does not work) they call it a dead spot.

When you turn the stalk(selections)
Off>>>>Auto>>>>Parking Lights>>>>Head Lights
separate switch on same stalk to turn on fogs

Nope, none what so ever. Keep in mind though the Subaru fogs are glass so they shouldn't melt. One of the guys down here has 3500k (I'm thinking of switching to) and he's fine. The 2500k work well but are very light compared to the 3500k. The 3500k are a strong yellow but look green when you first turn them on.

This stalk DOES have the auto light spot or "dead zone". It's the one I have. I plan on making the auto work in the near future and is why I went with it.

Quick question: is it the same harness part number for both sides?

true but the only problem i can see is the position of the pins... there easily interchangeable so i dont think it should be a problem.
