True, but at this point beauty takes a back seat to functionality.

I'll leave the beauty to the outside. The engine bay, anything goes. (Of course I tried to make it look as good as possible, but if I have to decide between ugly and performance, I'm going for performance).

Need MOOOOAAAAAARRRRR! LOL

I have to agree with you. I personally don't look under the hood enough for this to be an issue and am much more interested in your driving impressions, pros and cons of the kit, installation challenges, reliability, dyno results, etc... Congrats!!

if you care about how your turbo kit looks under the hood, you're doing this for the wrong reasons lol. well, maybe if you're building a straight show car, in which case i'd just leave the hood closed and save $5k .

the turbo blanket is a good idea. i think if we had solid data on under-hood temps with and without headerwrap/blanket on these 'top mount' style turbos, everyone would be running them. i'm not sure if they're going to wrap mine, though i know the pipes are going to be coated. if i finish my datalogger in time i'll try to get something.

from my own exp. i never had a blanket or wrap on my cars and i had a 2jzgte yes i know different car ! but same principle. Now using the blanket i feel a big difference in how the heat is just absorbed i drove about an hour from work to home and open the hood and compared to my 2j big difference.!!!

Eh you can get a more blingy turbo blanket if you want. My opinion, who cares.

@lexusb3 mind a clean shot of how the "remote" style intake looks. also with the CAI toni said the washer fluid bottle gets removed, with your setup did anything need to b removed from the car?
