Damn, if it was coming at your from the front, and the damage is on the trunk, I'd say you almost flew under it! Another 20HP and you woulda been clear!

That's probably going to need more help than a paint pen can give and red always seems hard to match so I'd say it's worth it to find a shop.

I was just being sarcastic about the paint pen comment. This is beyond a "touch-up" job.

Yeah you can only polish out scratches and scuffs that don't fully penetrate the clear coat. Even if the scratch is still red but dull it means you're down to the paint. Sorry dude, that really sucks.
