if anyone is interessted how this turned out - I've agreed with my XXR dealer that they replace my chromium black wheels with a new set of flat black ones, as they are not able to guarantee me a full set of 4 identically colored chromium black ones.
I'll see how the flat black work on my white GT86, if it looks crap I'm repainting them into something different.
still a bit of a disappointment

Still waiting for WheelDude to send me some return tags so I can return these ones and get new ones
I had the same issue with one of my rotas a few years back. Wheeldude sent me a new one ASAP.

Just got XXR 530's in Chromium black yesterday. I looked at a lot of pictures before I had decided on the color. My 4 wheels match, but they are definitely more silver than black. Here's a comparison. I was hoping to get the darker color, but from my understanding XXR switched companies and the new company was not able to replicate the darker Chromium Black...so all the new wheels from now on are the lighter color.

Got bored of the black wheel look. Wanted something that was a little more eye-catching at night time.

I'm running 18x7.5 +38 front, and 18x8.75 +33 rear. Front and rear look flush.
I'm not sure if the center caps will fit or not. I don't like the XXR center caps either. For a nice metal wheel, the cheap plastic cap looks like crap. I took mine off last night. I'll probably look for replacements or just leave them off. They don't look too bad without them on.
If the Subaru center caps fit let me know! I sold my OEM wheels already, but I could always purchase new center caps if they're going to fit.

I run XXR 527s and the stock caps are way to small to fit. I'm in the process of spraying the XXR caps matte black and adding my own sticker to them.

I'll just throw my Enkei caps on my XXR 530's and say, "Enkei makes their Raijin in SBC finish now......."
In all honesty, if Enkei DID make their Raijin in SBC I would've bought those in a heartbeat.
I'm happy XXR provides a good alternative.
