05/12: 86
06/12: 2684
07/12: 1649
08/12: 1913
09/12 :1133
10/12: 1107
11/12: 1350
12/12: 1495
01/13: 1443
02/13: 1369
03/13: 1828
04/13: 1629
05/13: 1937

It's hard to sell 2500 of six different colors in a month, let alone one color (Ignition Silver)! Not everyone will want to pay more for a 10 Series plus the BRZ will steal 10 Series sales sitting in the same price slot. Wouldn't be surprised to see 10 Series' sitting idle on dealer lots once the demand stabilizes after this initial spike, especially when '14s come out next month with better standard features compared to the current standard '13s.

Tada-san announced that Toyota intends to release special versions every year. USDM seems to be owning up to that promise with the First 86 and 10 Series released actually in the same 2013 model year! So if you miss out on the 10 Series this year, other special editions will come. And current BRZ/FR-S owners eagerly trading in for a 10 Series, you may get to do it again next year.
You're totally right, it just sucks waiting and its a piss off that some dealers have these just sitting on the lot yet the preorders haven't been delivered yet. Hope they just aren't giving us the shaft because they know we will wait.
I'm not sure if the MY2014s will be out next month, probably 2 months. on a Subaru Canada dealer sheet it says they won't go into sale until september with production starting august.
In another thread someone found a magazine with Subaru saying the only changes for2014 were kneepads, Aha radio, and new badging.

Well....

Count #927 as accounted for.
I'm picking it up after I finish a few things here at work.
It's being delivered at Toyota of Bellevue in WA state.

Nice all I have to do is go there and drive away.

I'm pissed about the #.

June US FR-S sales of 1,815 would've been hundreds more if not for the 10 Series stop sale. This must have been (and with the PIO fog light hiccup, still is) the worst launch in Toyota history.

I wonder if TMS is considering delaying release of MY2014 FR-S in order to clear out the late arriving 2013's? That, combined with an expected price increase and no major changes, should help regain FR-S sales velocity after this absurd 10 Series stumble.

Ok, just an update for those of you that placed orders but do not have a VIN yet. I ordered my 10 series in May and was waiting on a VIN #. I got a call from my dealer today stating that my order for a manual was filled with an automatic for some reason. Long story short, they call the district manager and got the auto traded with a MT. How do you order one thing and fill it with something else? Well way to screw things up yet again Scion! Call your dealers and make sure the VIN is for the car you ordered before it is too late to change it.

You'll want to check the model number. 6259A is the M/T, forgot what the A/T is, but it's slightly different. Your issue sounds like dealer error. They order directly into the new vehicle system and the regions distribute accordingly. It's all Scion though. Glad you caught it in time.

Oh, would someone please post the exterior paint code from the driver's B-pillar placard? I've posted one code but read another and would like confirmation, thanks.
