Me four. I was watching the Tour de France yesterday and had to rewind a couple of times to admire a spectator's silver GT86 parked on a curve. Sigh, waiting, waiting...and still no ETA today.

Got caught off-guard by the dealer while driving to work today, but in a good way. My pride and joy is in a week early! Obviously had to immediately take a detour to Scion before I got to work. Turns out I'm #158 out of 2500. Was hoping to be in the first hundred, but ehhhhh...I'll take it. Before I left, the sales manager said he'll hold to his promise of sticker price only and no outrageous fees (and the BeSpoke for $675). Only thing he couldn't promise was the value I wanted for my old '05 xB trade-in, but whatever...CarMax or AutoTrader can solve that problem.

I Can. Not. WAIT for my day off on Wednesday to get here.

To the new owners, welcome to the party! This thread feels like deja vu from a year ago with the First 86. To the people unable to secure an order thinking they are "sold out," I wouldn't worry. Look at these monthly FR-S sales numbers:

05/12: 86
06/12: 2684
07/12: 1649
08/12: 1913
09/12 :1133
10/12: 1107
11/12: 1350
12/12: 1495
01/13: 1443
02/13: 1369
03/13: 1828
04/13: 1629
05/13: 1937

It's hard to sell 2500 of six different colors in a month, let alone one color (Ignition Silver)! Not everyone will want to pay more for a 10 Series plus the BRZ will steal 10 Series sales sitting in the same price slot. Wouldn't be surprised to see 10 Series' sitting idle on dealer lots once the demand stabilizes after this initial spike, especially when '14s come out next month with better standard features compared to the current standard '13s.

Tada-san announced that Toyota intends to release special versions every year. USDM seems to be owning up to that promise with the First 86 and 10 Series released actually in the same 2013 model year! So if you miss out on the 10 Series this year, other special editions will come. And current BRZ/FR-S owners eagerly trading in for a 10 Series, you may get to do it again next year.
