I would not drive that car, seriously. I would just sell it as is, rather than fixing it up, and then driving it around. I promise you that you will find it Rattling somewhere, or the bad Gap, or some other details will drive you NUT! seriously. Then all the problems you may get from the Body shop as well.
Good thing is the OP is doing good, and not hurt. Be well ! There is always Idiots on the road, not just old people

The mechanics seems to be fine. No new strange things. I took it to a body shop that works on high end cars like lambo ferrari n maseratis etc. They did good on fixing it up. Just gotta see what the hell is up with my navi screen
