That is quite the difference. I have all iOS devices as it is, but I don't think they'll come out with a head unit since it's not open source. I think the Ipad Mini is the perfect size, but I'd much rather have an indash unit than something mounted to the dash.

Get a Pioneer head unit, either an AppRadio, or an AVH series unit. You can then mirror your iphone apps to your head unit and control them through your head units touchscreen. That's what I've got in my car. Was working great with my iPhone 4, just waiting on a firmware update to support that iPhone 5 cable. Should be any day now.

Are those settings what you wanted? Or are you limited by equipment?

.

Wanted -1.5 front and -2.0 rear but ended up with those numbers. I can run more up front with camber bolts in kw upper holes, rear seems limited up to -1.8 or 1.9 without LCAs.

If you plan on autocrossing more often, then definitely try to dial in more negative camber up front. Your current settings will cause the car to understeer quite a bit.

Unlike cars with double wishbone front suspensions, the front struts on the FR-S/BRZ have very little negative camber gain under compression. For your street driven car, you may want to start at -2.5 up front and go from there.

For this past autocross, we really wanted to run -3.5" camber up front on our shop car, but could only muster -1.6" because of clearance issues with the 255 tires and the factory struts (our coilovers didn't arrive in time).

Anyhow, the result, which was no surprise to us, was fairly heavy understeer. This really killed our speed through the two skidpad sections. I had to try extra hard to make up the time through the other sections of the course.

If you'd like to pick our brain about alignment settings, please feel free to stop by or give us a call.

Here's a video of one of my runs. Not the best quality, but I thought it was cool that you can see most of the course from the grandstands.

I'm considering signing up for this. Do they have you work the corner stations when not driving, or does the track/organization provide their own corner workers?

Anyone else considering it?

This is exactly what I was thinking as well. Unless you are trying to overcompensate for steer conditions with alignment, which you shouldn't be, I would never run more camber in the rear on this car. I think -2.5 front and -1.5 rear is the sweet spot on these cars, and you can adjust for driver preference from there. On the twins, you will need to invest in adjustability parts in order to get a proper racing alignment; IE camber plates, LCA's, bushings, bolts, etc.

First run of the day in my car, before we got tire pressures sorted out. Codriver was driving, but needless to say, thing was a bit of a handful.
