I'm a Manchester United fan. When I was 8 or 9 yrs old I wouldn't think that the MLS would ever expand. I didn't even think Soccer would ever expand because I thought most Americans wouldn't understand. Now, I think Soccer has grown larger than most would expect. Timbers and Sounders games have an awesome atmosphere even on TV. Soccer is far more exciting than baseball in my opinion.

When it comes to rain or bad conditions I prefer sg cleats but I haven't bought any since my college days. Before when I was all about adidas I would wear my predators long enough, until I got blisters from it but that didn't stop me. The first 3 gen. of predators were my favorites until I started checking out other brands. Then before the Legends got a little popular I tried it and converted strictly Nike. But I still hear from some players that adidas still runs narrow, not a problem for me but I like a little more cushion. And I hate how these prices keep going up. Dammit man, if I'm going to pay $500 on cleats then I better be gliding past everyone and the ball sticks to my feet like in FIFA 10 and I better be making shots from the other side of the field. Give me a break adidas and Nike. Oh for sure man, I came home late one night and couldn't fall asleep so I put on espn and they are replaying the match from a couple of hours ago. I'm like am I hearing an actual chant. The fans there at Seattle are great for supporting their soccer team. They are really into it and such a large crowd it was almost like watching an English Premier game lol.

For the MLS, I actually paid attention to it when I was kid too since I had better access to it than vs. Serie A or some Premier League games. Now I can actually see some good teams and My AC Milan squad, so yeah it has changed over the years. The only only time and probably what is helping soccer in America is the World Cup, especially the women's. Thanks Hope Solo. When the world cup comes around then everyone comes out supporting their country and its been growing more around here. Oh and I called it for the women's world cup, Japan had good karma after their disaster. Even for a women's team they played far better than anyone (yes even Brazil) and played almost like a mens team. Japan were really in sync with each other so it wasn't that hard for me to choose them over the U.S.

As for 2011 Women's World Cup, I think USA was doing great. Just vs Japan, first half hunt them later and hurt them pretty badly... First half, USA had the ball more than Japan and shooting more. When US made 2nd goal (Wambackh?) that was crazy... til Sawa made that ridiculously crazy goal. Just Japan vs USA final game was one of the best game in the 2011 Women's World Cup. Japan vs Germany was pretty good too |

I was in NY for a convention that day and all the guys ending up watching that game instead hanging out with the girls. That game drew so much attention and I didn't care what anyone said I was rooting for Brazil to meet Japan in the finals. I really just wanted cause some ruckus to make it even more exhilarating.

I can't for Euro '12 this summer. Going to be fun to watch. I'm a bit tired of Spain already with their dominance.

Anyways I liked it when I could have shoulder checked people when i was younger, but then the refs started calling me out on it so I had to stop doing that. Comparing almost any real sport has changed a lot since the 80's and 90's. The aggressiveness or violet nature perhaps is beginning to get toned down. Just look at the NFL and NBA for example. In the NFL you can't do certain things anymore because some dudes are getting hurt. Well its a part of the game and these guys know what they are signing up for and getting paid to do it. Grow some balls or gtfo, the NFL is a man sport and Goodell is ruining it too. I could keep going but I'm starting to go in a different direction so I'll stop here.

Yeah, I put my money on Germany during the WC and then they had to play Spain. I want to put my money on Germany but I'm not positive anymore.

- That's why I stopped since that was not actually relevant to soccer. Just trying to make a point if someone touches you then its a foul, give a fine or get suspended. How about they call a necessary foul and play the game.
