Part of me wishes this motor would blow so I can swap in a 1NZ for 300 bucks. It's the same part of me that wishes the clutch would go so I would have an excuse to install new 5th gear and machine the flywheel, or that the muffler would rust away so that I could buy a new one. lol.
It will cost you more than $300. Way more.

Hrm. Guy who swapped the 1NZ in made custom adapter and motor mount, and got the 1NZ for 300 bucks. The options seem to be use the C50 attached to most 1NZs (shift linkage modification required, possibly drive shaft as well although I think it's possible to get around that by replacing both motor mounts instead of just 1), or adapt C56. The adapter plate he made needed some grinding away of the bellhousing for the starter, I could just cheat and get rid of the starter altogether, rig up a belt-alternator-starter system and push button start. Apparently all that needs to be done is to use the stock 1ZZ sensors, injectors, and ECU, and it will run just fine.

Although I bet that guy still has the template for his adapter, maybe he would be willing to sell me it.

I'm still weirded out from this move from Texas to Illinois. Super-Right to Super-Left is Super-weird.

Funny breaking the rules.

My statuses are filled with OBAMA FTW! and variations of that.

What I find funny is that these are the same people who wouldn't give a random stranger a dollar if asked and yet they support OBAMA. So many informed people in this great country of ours (USA).

I saw a friend of mine on facebook took like 6/7 hours to beat campaign. I was contemplating buying it, but seeing as how it's so short, I'll be skipping it till it's dirt cheap. I could care less about Halo online.
