Anyway my boy is having money problems and issues with his family. I woke up to 2 similar texts that read what I quoted above. He left me that message the other day I thought I pass it along here to ask you fine people if I should take this seriously? He's known to be over dramatic at most times but this looks like he could be going in the deep end. Thoughts?

Go talk with him. Hang out a bit. Assess his situation.

Be real with him and let him know that if he has problems, you're there to help him through them. Usually all it takes is one real talk with somebody who cares to really make somebody's outlook on life better.

There newer cd "Fever", isn't as heavy but still good if you listen to the lyrics. Good Break up stuff-As usual.

Well with me being at work, I just ended up calling him. He told me he's over it. Like I thought, he was just in one of his depressive states again. But I think you might be right and I should at least check in on him later to just make sure. Thanks.

Yeah, I prefer a heavier style, but if the lyrics are there then that's straight enough for me to listen to.

I suppose it saves valvetrain weight or something? I hate how these stupid 1ZZ-FEDs come with toothpick rods, swapped cams would still be limited by the 6700rpm limit. The guy who put in a C60 + 1NZ said he ran at over 8000rpm no problems for a few years...if I had one of those, cams might be more worth it. Part of me wishes this motor would blow so I can swap in a 1NZ for 300 bucks. It's the same part of me that wishes the clutch would go so I would have an excuse to install new 5th gear and machine the flywheel, or that the muffler would rust away so that I could buy a new one. lol.

Just back after 8 days of no power from Sandy. Luckily, we were able to have hot water and were able to cook. I noticed I've been a year on the forum and hope more to come.
